Ahhh... summer. Time to be outdoors and cooking on the barbeque! With a national flock of around 40 million sheep, the folks at Meat & Wool New Zealand know a thing or two about what works on the grill. Here's a simple recipe from them that is sure to have friends & family looking over your shoulder as you wow them with your culinary prowess!

Barbeque Lamb & Shiitake Kebab

4 Lamb Top Sirloin

Fresh Shiitake Mushrooms

Fresh Lime Leaves

 

 

 

Cut the lamb top sirloin into cubes of appx 1- 1½" size.

Skewer the lamb pieces, alternating with the shiitake mushrooms and lime leaves.

Barbeque or chargrill the kebabs for 2-3 minutes per side, depending on your preference.

Serve, and enjoy!

 

This simple recipe works perfectly with your favorite summer salad and other accompaniments!
