Brands' Imitation Crab Surimi is mild flavored imitation crab meat made from lean, cooked white fish. The name comes from a Japanese word meaning “minced fish”. Surimi comes in two main varieties: flakes and sticks. Surimi flakes contains small chunks and shredded pieces resembling picked crab meat. Surimi Sticks long resemble Alaskan king crab legs. Pilot Brands uses high quality fish for the imitation products: Alaskan Pollock, Sea Bream and Golden Thread Fish.
